Mentoring and supervision
For space-holders and practitioners: yoga teachers, facilitators, and people who hold rooms where trust cannot be assumed.
- Cost
- NZ$220 a session, 90 minutes, one at a time. No GST. If you teach as a volunteer and this is for that work, it is free: say so in your enquiry.
- Where
- Face to face in Auckland, or online from wherever you are. Outside New Zealand is fine.
- To start
- Send a short enquiry. A sentence or two is plenty.
- What happens
- Bring what you are carrying: a class that will not settle, a boundary you are unsure of, the weight of the work itself.
- The difference
- Mentoring grows the craft: the teaching, the room, the shape of your offer. Supervision tends you in the work: staying reflective in challenging settings, the ethical corners, the weight you carry. This is supervision of the work, not counselling.
- Behind it
- This draws on my years in leadership positions supporting therapeutic workers and counsellors in trauma and crisis contexts, and my teaching yoga in high- and maximum-security prisons in New Zealand.
