For organisations

Tailored, choice-led yoga for community and reintegration settings.

For Auckland organisations commissioning yoga for groups of adults or young people—community services, reintegration programmes, youth services and similar settings. Each programme is scoped with you, delivered at your venue and designed so that every participant genuinely chooses how they take part.

The offer

Tailored Group Yoga Programme

A six-week programme of weekly 75-minute sessions for up to ten participants. It begins with a scoping meeting, from which I build a session plan tailored to your group and setting.

Delivery is choice-led, predictable and non-disclosive: the structure of each session is announced before it begins, every practice has alternatives including rest and observation, and nobody is asked to share personal information at any point.

The programme closes with simple participation and learning feedback from the group, and a commissioner debrief using aggregate information only—no individual reporting.

Working arrangement

Responsibilities are explicit from the start.

Programmes work because the boundary between my role and your organisation's role is written down, not assumed.

What I provide

  • Scoping, programme design and a tailored session plan
  • Delivery of all six sessions
  • Choice-led, predictable, non-disclosive teaching
  • Participation and learning feedback
  • An aggregate-only commissioner debrief

What your organisation retains

  • An approved venue, with a named staff member present throughout every session
  • Participant eligibility and clinical suitability
  • For groups of young people: guardian consent, and the organisation's own safeguarding and supervision
  • Crisis response and security
  • Behaviour management and case coordination

Design features

Designed for settings where trust is earned slowly.

Predictable structure

The shape of each session is explained before it starts, and the format repeats week to week. Nothing is a surprise.

Genuine choice

Every practice has alternatives, including resting and observing. Participation is never used as a measure of engagement.

No disclosure

No hands-on adjustments, no sharing circles, no personal questions. People participate without having to explain themselves.

Delivery experience

My experience includes teaching yoga in high- and maximum-security prisons in Aotearoa New Zealand, within more than fifteen years of working with people from trauma backgrounds and in high-pressure environments. Alongside the yoga training, I'm trained in group facilitation and group dynamics—so the programme is designed as group work, not a class delivered at a group. Full training and qualifications are listed on the about page.

Commissioning

From enquiry to debrief.

1Enquiry and scoping

We start with a conversation, then a scoping meeting to understand your group, venue and requirements.

2Signed scope

The programme proceeds on a signed scope agreement and deposit, once insurance coverage for your setting is confirmed.

3Delivery and debrief

Six weekly sessions at your venue, followed by an aggregate debrief on participation, clarity and usable learning.

Programmes are delivered under written insurance confirmation for your setting, with a signed scope agreement before the first session.

Talk through a programme.

A scoping conversation is free of charge and free of obligation.
